Hola from the World Language classroom! My name is Señora Piper and I am your student’s World Language teacher. I began my teaching career in 2010 and have been teaching in Rye since 2017. This year is an extra exciting one for me as I have my own kindergartener here at RES and I am expecting my third child.

Typically, RES students have a half year of Spanish and a half year of French. This year will be a bit different, but nevertheless enriching and wonderful! This year students will have a15 day session of Spanish and two 15 day sessions of Italian! I will be leaving on maternity leave for the school year starting in early November. I look forward to all that we will accomplish together in Spanish prior to my leave and am thrilled the students will have the opportunity to learn Italian with the kind and talented, Ms. D'Appolonia. I will be back full time to teach the students Spanish and French for the 2023-2034 school year.
