Welcome to the Rye School District, consisting of Rye Elementary School and Rye Junior High. Our schools provide our students with a 21st century education. We believe learning is a journey, not merely a destination.

It is our mission at Rye Elementary School to provide a safe, caring, supportive environment in which students are encouraged to acquire knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to become lifelong learners and responsible citizens. We strive to actively involve parents, teachers and community members on this journey.

Rye Junior High (RJH) is a school designed to meet the developmental needs of students from the ages of 10 to 14. Our middle school's mission is to provide a dynamic, nurturing, student-centered education where our students thrive academically and socially. When our students are finished at RJH, it is our hope that they are intellectually reflective, literate, and caring citizens prepared for the world ahead of them.
