As an educator, Gene is passionate about the art of music. He combines instruments, voice, dance and technology at every grade level. He believes one must participate in music making to truly enjoy it. He likes to draw on contemporary styles that meet the interests of his students.

When not teaching, Gene enjoys performing in various music groups on the seacoast.

Gene Guth lives in Portsmouth with his wife, dog and cat. His son is currently at UNH. His favorite Rye beach is Pirate’s Cove.
