In the 1st Quarter, grades K-4 are focusing on monochromatic self-portraits.

• Kindergarten is investigating Lois Ehlert's, "Planting a Rainbow" and learning to use various tools and techniques.

• 1st Grade is making collages while experimenting with different mediums.

• 2nd Grade is making collages based on the book, "Pie in the Sky" by Lois Ehlert.

• 3rd and 4th Grades are learning how to use the compass and protractor as well as using familiar household objects to create circles and investigate the elements of art.
