We will be introducing 2-4 Heart Words every couple of weeks. You may be more familiar with the term High Frequency or Sight Words. However, new research has found that we need to orthographically map these words. Words need to be learned in parts - parts that follow regular phonological patterns and parts that are irregular. Those irregular pieces need to be learned by Heart.
