Announcing: Our 1st Annual RES Musical Production process begins!

OVERVIEW

• SHOW: "Life on a Plate" is a musical written & conceived by Portsmouth playwright Miles Burns and Rye native Hanna Morrissee.

• WHO: The play is currently open to students in Grades 3 & 4. Everyone who auditions is cast in the show.

• DATES:

  • Info Session for Students​:  Friday, Feb. 3, 8:30am-9:00am, RES Gym
  • ​Auditions:  Wednesday, February 8, 2023, 3:00-5:15pm, RES Gym
  • Rehearsals Begin:  February 21
  • Performances:   April 14 & 15 - 7pm; April 15 - 2pm, RES Gym

• SIGN-UPs: Students wishing to participate will Sign-Up using this form.

• INFO SESSION: A special "Musical Info Session" will be held for students in grades 3 & 4 on Friday morning, February 3. In this session students will:

  • Meet some of the directors
  • Learn about the overall production process
  • Learn some tips on Auditioning

  • Attend our RJH performance of "The Little Mermaid" to get a glimpse of what our young people can do and to meet your Direction team!!  Performances:  February 16, 17, 18 @ 7pm.NOTE:  we have 5 RES students in the play!!!
